Our first stop was the National Museum of American Indian located near the hotel at Battery Park City. This is where New Amsterdam began. After checking out the Christmas stalls at Bowling Green we made our way up to the main branch of the New York Public Library where we checked out the Three Faiths exhibit and the Bryant Park Christmas stalls. And of course CitiPond where we met Eleanor for a skate. And then it was off to Lincoln Center where we saw Pelleas et Melisande at the Met. We found the new renovation of Lincoln Center plaza with LED lights quite cool! A busy first day.

Day 1
